We love hosting Visiting Artists to share their insights and knowledge with our members! This gives them a broad exposure to different experiences and perspectives.
Some of our visiting artists have included Alva Anderson, who shared her insight about circle singing and jazz music, including the joy and fun of scat singing, improvising and "making it swing."
We also had a 2023 camp visit from Madelyn Knight, one of Charleston’s most gifted and celebrated musical theatre artists! Madelyn inspired us all with her mini-performance, and shared some of her favorite warmups and tips for being more expressive in our singing.
Another favorite guest was Joe Spiotta, another one of Charleston's most beloved musical theatre artists. Joe was a fun and inspiring part of our holiday party, singing a few of his favorite pieces for us and hosting our karaoke with flair!
The luminary opera singer tenor Brett Hunter dazzled us with his powerful, versatile voice, and shared some of his favorite tips for powerful singing and stage presence.
